Yoan Iglev is a Bulgarian painter whose art has attracted attention of people the world over. Iglev, known due to his monumental murals as well as complex mosaics, mixes the traditional with the modern, forming the pieces that are not subject to geographical or cultural demarcation.

His birth took place in Plovdiv, where he was enrolled in the National Academy of Art in Sofia, where he perfected his skills in monumental painting. His initial encounter with global art movements prompted him to experiment with new materials, styles, and techniques, adding to the Bulgarian cultural stories the elements of the world art.
